I Am With You

This poem arose from within after a co-meditation session with a client. Thank you for the absolute privilege of allowing me to be part of your self-empowerment process.

I am with you, allowing space for the unfolding of your longing.
I know how layered feeling into longing and desire can be
How self-judgment can slaughter the spontaneous arising of your heart
I know how the intensity of longing can be frightening,
And pushed away for another day
It rages as restlessness, unrest, insomnia, comfort eating and a million things in between
Unspoken, unfelt, judged, it saps the life force

I know how hard it is to feel the body
To not take the escape route to justification, blame and even bypassing by breathing deeply
I know, because I’ve been there and still go there sometimes
In that there is playing safe but no rest
Holding oneself together but no ease, no lightness

I am with you allowing space for the unfolding of your longing
Together we are held by an energy unfathomable and profoundly almost unbearably gentle and loving
Where the doubt of self-worth and the razor blade of self-judgment hold no sway

I am with you, allowing space for the unfolding of your longing.
Here to support you in allowing the intensity of desire to chorus through your body,
Life itself sharing what is non-negotiable to her
Here to root for you
Holding you accountable to your desire every day
Little steps, unpacking nuances
Aligning with circadian rhythms
Melting fear
Falling in love with yourself
Trusting
One little micro thought-action at a time.
I am with you, allowing space for the unfolding of your longing.
