Dr. Schweig dropped out of school to study the Shastras, then got a Ph.D. in Comparative Religion, Harvard University, ThM in Religion, Harvard University, and MTS in Religion, Harvard University.

He has authored books on the Gita and Bhagavata Purana and is soon to publish a book on the Yoga Sutras. His book, Bhagavad Gītā: The Beloved Lord's Secret Love Song (HarperCollins), which has sold over 50,000 copies).
